The Auburn Hills Operations Center (AHOC) is a 4 story 400,000 square foot facility which sits on approximately 40 acres, housing over 1,000 colleagues with roughly 90% of the space on a raised floor setting. It contains a 15,000 sq.ft. data center, a customer support system, other banking support operations as well as a full - service cafeteria for Comerica colleagues.

Food and Networking begin at 4:30pm with Tour starting approximately 5:30 pm

The facility was completed in 1984, built of reinforced concrete, with an unbonded post tension support system and a barrel-vaulted skylight that encloses a 400-foot-long center atrium dividing the interior of the building into east and west halves. The exterior of the building and some portions of the interior are clad in granite imported from Canada and Uruguay.

The facility is capable of being run entirely on emergency generator power if necessary however, also has two separate 13.2 kVA Edison Power Feeds to provide further redundancy. Additionally, a battery back-up system that provides uninterruptable power to specified areas if a power outage should occur between a detected outage and the automatic switch to generators.

Points of interest:

* The total weight of the granite is approximately 3,150,000 lbs.

* There are 3,000 fire protection sprinkler heads in the facility.

* The electrical system contains approximately 212 miles of wire linking 3,600 receptacles and 3,700 light fixtures.

* The buildings heating and cooling systems moves over 725,000 cubic feet of air per minute at full capacity.
